Data is tangible, concrete evidence that speaks for the issue in terms of numbers. Visual aids put data in proper context. Health demographics, trends, pharmacovigilance reports, etc. are all solid indicators that can be implemented.

The medical staff and its members are responsible for the clinical excellence and quality of the organization, and that means putting the patient first. Often, administration and medical staff can be at odds over issues regarding a particular patient's care when concerns over staffing, equipment, pharmaceuticals or access to infrastructure is needed.
