Foco na prioridade que tenha menor prazo de entrega e que tenha mais impacto na campanha para, se necessário, renegociar uma entrega que possa atrasar. Tendo visibilidade prévia de um possível atraso é melhor que deixar o problema crescer.

Maintaining client trust while preserving quality requires transparency and proactive communication when facing project delays. 1. Acknowledge the delay: Inform the client immediately, explaining the cause without making excuses. This openness builds credibility. 2. Propose a revised timeline: Offer a realistic, revised schedule and outline steps you're taking to ensure quality isn't compromised. Highlight any additional measures, such as enhanced reviews or extra resources, to guarantee excellence. You reinforce trust even in challenging circumstances by focusing on solutions and maintaining communication.

Communicate the delay proactively, explaining the reasons and how you are addressing them. Offer a revised timeline with clear milestones to show the project is still under control. Highlight the steps being taken to avoid any drop in quality. By showing commitment to delivering the best possible outcome, even if it takes a bit longer, you reinforce trust and professionalism.

This happened not long ago. You think you’ve got everything mapped out, but then, life happens. I had this one project where we missed our deadline by two weeks! I was unwell but I couldn't use that as an excuse, right. Instead of panicking, I called the client, explained what was happening (with a touch of humour, of course!), and reassured them we were prioritising quality. I said, ‘Look, we could rush this, but you'd get something mediocre, and you're not a mediocre kind of client!’ They laughed, appreciated the honesty, and gave us the time we needed. Being upfront and human with your clients can work wonders; it builds trust faster than you think.
