First, Get the team together and ensure everyone is on the same page with the current and end state, and then re-evaluate and re-assign the priorities against the timeline and bandwidth. This ensures transparency. Second, Discuss the project goals, needs, and customer impact such that the team is educated and empowered to make effective prioritization decisions. This ensures ownership and accountability. Third, Open a communication channel such that the members can discuss and communicate faster without waiting for a scheduled meeting. This will enable effective collaboration. Lastly, Set up daily connects that will help the team to track progress and iterate faster.

Have the pending list of items ready and aligned priority wise. Go through the current and upcoming tasks of the team members and make sure everyone is working on the priority tasks, if someone is working on a non-priority task you can offload that from their bucket and get him/her aligned with the priority task. This will help you mitigate the risk of unfinished high priority tasks if you are still missing the timeline in the last. Have a Crisp and point to point meeting with the team members to discuss on the pending items and there estimation. The people who work with full ownership make sure they are not overburdened as they will anyway perform good, focus on the weaker ones and have a status check meeting twice a day to closely monitor

I’d get the team to focus on the purpose of meeting the deadlines and what would be the impact on the stakeholders/clients if they weren’t met. I believe people inherently care about others. When you showcase this as an opportunity to help someone else, you are likely to get more engagement from your team. It also helps if you work with the team what some of the blockers/distractions may be to achieve the deadlines and resolve them, so the team have a clear path forward.

Delegating requires meeting people where they are and providing guidance in a way they are ready to accept versus only assigning tasks. A framework that helps me tremendously comes out of psychological safety work - in terms of method, provide expectations (ask) or guidance (tell); in terms of level, provide it at level or task, process or outcome. Trust is a key ingredient at all levels, but by bringing people along for the journey from clear guidance to independence, delegation also becomes a form of development.

Dividing bit-sized tasks with clear ownerships (Achievable of course??). Importantly praising in public to give sense of belonging to team.
