If there's opposition, there must be a reason. In my view it is important to get to the root cause of this issue and try addressing it. Of course, this is possible only with engagement with the concerned parties. Despite best efforts if the opposition still persists there's a need to relook at the revitalization proposal and make amendments as necessary. At times even suspension if not abandoning the project may also be a good option to give time for reconciliation of issues at hand. It is important to understand that if a project is being undertaken in public interest, public should be at the center of it.
