When facing a large project, it's essential to define clear and achievable goals to make it more manageable. Start by identifying the overarching objective of the project, such as launching a new product or completing a major initiative. Then, break down this main goal into smaller, actionable objectives. As a example, instead of setting a broad goal like "launching a new product," refine it to "developing product specifications by the end of the month" or "conducting market research within two weeks." By breaking down the main goal into smaller, concrete objectives, you create a roadmap that guides your actions and helps track progress effectively, ultimately making the project more manageable and achievable.

Set up a strong and collaborative team, with clear roles and skills to contribute. A team that can sail these uncertain and dangerous waters, a team you can trust. This is paramount to achieve success for these large projects.

In managing a construction project, I prioritised effective planning and resource management. By analysing project requirements and developing a detailed plan, I ensured tasks were completed on time and within budget. Collaborating closely with suppliers and subcontractors, I secured necessary resources efficiently. 1. Project cash flow to be monitored 2. Items which does not need lead time more than a week must be bought out only a week before use. 3. Must try to keep minimum inventory in stores which indirectly will help managing cash flow. 4. Do not dump people unless really required. 5. Establish proper roles and responsibilities to each employee and must have clear definition for accountability.

Break the project into small, manageable and definable size. It can be horizontal split or vertical split depending on the nature of the project. Critical point is to clearly define the link or connecting points of the sub projects and integrating for composite delivery

-Equipment mob n demob plan should be adhere to project planning -Monitor the project material delivery lead time, to plan for the next activity manpower mobilization plan -If any work carried out by sub-contractor at our project location, we should plan their equipment requirement, additional manpower support to be considered, in order control the cash flow.

Split the project into sub-projects but maintain a common timeline. This will help tracking of cost and progress and consolidation can be done for reporting purposes.
