Rename your nerves as energy. Embrace them as a clear sign to your listeners that you care about your ideas. The added adrenaline will keep you vigilant, clear and focused. Let your emotions play out without talking about them (especially: don't apologize for your nerves). The more you practice this mindset in real-life situations, the more you will become accustomed to working with your nerves instead of struggling to eliminate them. And then, magically they will diminish. Finally, remember: your message is for and about your audience, but your nervousness is a you-thing (they can't see it unless you call attention to it)

To keep your nerves in check during a big presentation, focus on what you can control. Take a few deep breaths to calm yourself, and remind yourself why you’re there = you know your stuff! The key to knowing your stuff is to internalise your material and truly make it your own without mugging it up. Along with that proper practice will enable your opening to feel natural- like you are talking to a group of friends. Instead of worrying about being perfect, focus on sharing your message clearly. If you make a mistake, it’s okay - just keep going. Remember, the executives are people too, and they want to hear what you have to say. Confidence comes from being prepared and believing in yourself.

Preparation is clearly key but assuming that all has been done ahead of time that should have been done, one effective way to deal with nerves which I often use is to reframe it as excitement. Our bodily response to feeling nervous is very close to that of excitement and it is much easier than it appears to trick one’s mind into thinking we really are just excited about the opportunity. Try it! I was sceptical too but found out that it works very well when I had to speak in front of a 300-plus audience. It also gives you the energy you need to draw your audience in.

Courage is grace under pressure always and always . And to keep nerves in check its simple we should and have to prep like a pro . We need to know our material inside out, breathe deeply & visualize success. V Imp part is to focus on the message not the pressure & turn nerves into energy. Plus stand tall, make eye contact & remember at the end of the day they’re human too. Confidence isn’t about being fearless it’s about showing up with purpose and you Win !!
