I focus on thorough preparation, which builds my confidence. Before the presentation, I practice deep breathing to calm nerves and visualize a positive outcome. I break the presentation into sections, allowing me to concentrate on one part at a time. During the presentation, I stay grounded by maintaining eye contact and speaking slowly, which helps regulate my pace and keeps me centered. If I feel anxious, I discreetly take a slow, deep breath to regain focus. Lastly, I remind myself that I’m knowledgeable about the topic, which helps shift my mindset from fear to confidence.

Begin by thoroughly preparing and practicing your content, which builds confidence. Employ deep breathing techniques to manage anxiety beforehand. Visualize success and maintain a positive mindset. During the presentation, stay engaged with your audience by making eye contact and actively listening to their reactions. If you feel overwhelmed, take a brief pause to gather your thoughts. Finally, remind yourself that you are well-prepared, and embrace the opportunity to showcase your expertise.

During a high-stakes client presentation, nerves can easily take over. I remember one particularly critical presentation where the pressure felt overwhelming. To stay composed, I practiced mindfulness techniques beforehand, taking deep breaths to calm my mind. I prepared thoroughly, not only by rehearsing but also by anticipating possible questions, which boosted my confidence. Right before the presentation, I visualized a positive outcome, focusing on how I wanted the meeting to flow. Throughout the session, I stayed present, focusing on the client's reactions and adjusting as needed. This focus and preparation helped me stay grounded and deliver a successful presentation.

Regulating your body can help enhance your presentation in many ways, like decreased sweating, decreased nerves, loose body (instead of tight and closed off). EFT/Tapping deactivates the amygdala and can help calm you down prior to presentations, it can also help with the root fear of public speaking. There are many ways to combat the pressure put on yourself to do well. For instance, if you did "fail", what are you making failure mean to you? How could you use that opportunity as a win, regardless of the outcome?
