In my experience I have come to understand that the client concerns on matters are valuable routes to a happy client, once there are concerns then you can steer your solutions towards solving their concerns. To navigate conflicting venue choices with a sponsor: 1. Meet to discuss the sponsor concerns/party's preferences and reasons. 2. Always keep in mind and focus on the shared objectives for the event. 3. Make a list pros and cons for each venue so that both parties can clearly understand. 4. As much as possible I try to be flexible to consider other opinions. 5. I will also make sure I keep records of discussions and agreements.
