First, I create a safe space for open dialogue. In my experience hearing all perspectives, especially those often overlooked is crucial. I facilitate "listening circles" where everyone can express concerns without judgment. Secondly, I utilise the power of reframing. I translate opposing views into shared values. For instance, disagreements on resource allocation can be reframed as a shared desire for impactful use of resources. Thirdly, I use "common ground mapping" - visually plotting areas of agreement and disagreement. This helps in identifying overlapping interests and potential compromises. Lastly, I engage stakeholders in co-creating solutions. By involving stakeholders in brainstorming sessions, I foster a sense of shared ownership

Before a CSR initiative even begins, a best practice would be to ensure there's been an assessment of stakeholder interests and priorities. This will be the basis of your conversations and how to select and move forward on your initiatives. Also, CSR objectives should align with business objectives, with the business' values and goals providing language where CSR objectives make sense.
