When things get tense with a teammate, I try to remember we're both just people trying to do our jobs. I'll listen to their side, share mine calmly (using 'I' statements helps!), and focus on finding a solution together. If we hit a wall, I'll document things and maybe bring in a manager. Mostly, I just try to treat them how I'd want to be treated, even when it's tough.
