A clash between volunteers can disrupt your fundraising event. To resolve the conflict effectively:
- Engage in active listening to understand each volunteer's perspective and grievances.
- Establish common ground and remind volunteers of the overarching goal and mission of the event.
- Implement a solution-focused approach to encourage cooperation and compromise between parties.

To navigate through a clash between volunteers at a fundraising event, you can engage in active listening by giving each volunteer a chance to express their perspective and concerns without interruption. This shows respect and helps you fully understand the root of the conflict, allowing you to address it more effectively. Active listening fosters open communication, making it easier to find solutions that benefit everyone and maintain a positive atmosphere for the event.

First try and resolve conflict with both parties present. As Marshall Rosenberg said "under every conflict conflict is an unmet need". If you can dig out the unmet need both parties, then you create connection and from connection, you can resolve the issue. However, it is hard sometimes to unearth the real need is people are either not aware of them or don't wish to admit to them. For example, maybe your volunteers are in conflict because there is a perception that some volunteers are getting more favourable treatment. Your best bet is to reflect the underlying need – which is probably 'fairness' or 'justice' - or maybe just that one of them wants to be heard. Often that's enough to resolve the issue.

I would first try to talk it out with each one at the same time see if this works this approaches straight to it and sometimes it's too much, second I would take one at a time and talk to them one by one and understand a little bit more of what each one individual problem was and they're concerns and try to deal with ways understanding each individual is a sometimes needed approach third I would maybe separate them in a setting different from one another or different times neither one of first two.that's always it is saver to try, but communication is key for it all to come together always, having a friendly atmosphere would be necessary for friendships to come easier too. therefore maby put a flier make a friendship before the job starts
