Can't agree enough, that establishing an open, honest, and clear communication channel is key to managing uncertainties during such change periods. I would recommend: 1. Explain to teams why such changes have been made 2. Explain the scope of the change and what does that mean for current processes 3. Give people the opportunity to ask questions and address them 4. Be clear about effective dates and available resources to teams 5. Encourage team leaders to have separate discussions with their repartees and to feedback insights in a follow-up meeting after the announcement 6. Reassess execution and be flexible to adopt any changes needed to support people adapt the new processes and policies.
