You can anchor your breathing and make yourself more available to judgement-free listening. Reflect on what you listened to and confirm your understanding not just of the words but emotions too. It's said body language is 93% of our conversation so be mindful of it too. In case you feel you do not have an answer to something, respectfully pause the conversation. Consider pausing briefly to collect your thoughts. Focus on finding common ground and collaborative solutions, it is easy to play blame game in such scenarios. So avoid it mindfully.

Managing team requires one to have following as part of their skill set; - Empathy (ability to see things from other side as well) - Clear and precise communication - Common Goal definition for team members Above will help you understand all team members based on their background, skill sets, experience levels and ability to handle pressure. All would work in sync once common goal and common delivery is defiend for them. Ofcourse time to time alignment and revisit is needed but to ensure smooth kick of and less confligts .. follow the tip shared up.
