There are several deadlines in the development process. First understand the impact. Then determine your best option weighing ripple affects that might be cross departments. Have open communication with stake holders with some resolutions prepared. If you already have good communication you should be able to determine some direction. Once aligned internally gather information from the manufacturer on realistic expectations. With the facts from the manufacturer, regroup internally to confirm or rework plan. Afterwards stakeholders will likely want to discuss fault and a plan to avoid in the future. Having a plan fax always been a benefit.

I’d negotiate with the manufacturer to discuss potential remedies such as faster shipping, partial deliveries, or additional resources to expedite production. Sometimes, manufacturers can offer concessions or prioritize your project to make up for lost time. I would also keep detailed records of all communications and decisions made during this period. This can be useful for resolving disputes or negotiating compensation, especially if matters escalate.

To salvage the project, communicate immediately with the manufacturer to understand the delay, explore fast-tracking options, or adjust the production schedule. Simultaneously, inform stakeholders, revise timelines, and consider backup manufacturers if needed to minimize impact.

In the fashion business there are many deadlines. If you are not willing to take "no" for an answer then you deal with the fallout of the situation and still press on. Before the internet you were stuck with the conventional ways of doing things. If lets say the designs are not ready for the final show and that is missed. Back in the day that would have been the end.... Now you can let the world know what's going on with social media and YouTube and make it happen another way. The options are to obvious these days and people love a good comeback. I hope this makes sense.

I think one should move ahead with possitive mindset and try to find Manufacturers who believe in Completing task and achieving impossible assignments. Such Obstacles do come and arise Suddenly, Universe always gives another Chance to Manifest more Difficult task

First thing first before go to manufacture i think we should have plan B, C, or D. Don’t forget to tell your client about this plan. So If ur manufcture got missed we can tell client we can changes plan A to B. But don’t forget to tell ur client u will try hard with plan A with ur manufactures so ur probabillity to move plan is less.

Para solucionar esse problema, primeiro deixaria de pensar nele como um problema e passaria a encará-lo como um grande desafio a ser vencido. A depender da situa??o, em uma produ??o de moda, algumas demandas mais simples podem ser movidas na ordem de prioridades. Assim se ganha tempo para solucionar possíveis atrasos em outras demandas. Para ganhar tempo e cumprir o novo prazo, executaria as demandas mais simples primeiro e em seguida as mais complexas Em último caso, solicitaria o servi?o de terceiros para a conclus?o da demanda, mesmo que me custasse mais caro, essa seria uma op??o para cumprir minha responsabilidade e n?o prejudicar ainda mais o meu cliente.

It is vital to the project that is delayed and most vital to maintain the relationship built over years and trust to keep the communication as clear and transparent, when faced with manufacturing delays. Maintaining the trust between the people involved will help smoothen the situation.

One thing i’ve found helpfull if u tell that difficulty level about ur projects, so we can think realistically with client. To make difficulty level you must have knowledge or research with your project and discuss with your manufacture.

Stay positive and trust your team is a must! All difficult things will be resolved if you stay positive and trust to your team.
