Try to understand the underlying cause. Often an unexpressed underlying anxiety about something perfectly reasonable, comes out as a problem with what someone else has done.

This is actually important as it helps you in approaching your solutions in a very timely manner and order of importance. This can help by using the Eisenhower's metrics

I’d stop addressing them as if I was above them and start addressing them as we all should , a team, a family and treat them like one. You treat your employees like you would family and be giving to them whether it be emotional support, understanding, care, compassion, grace with a mindset and actions such as I do good, we all do good, you won’t have those issues. I get a bonus and you don’t, no worries, I’ll split it among us because we’re a team and we’re all leaders here. One man/woman shouldn’t get credit for a teams work.

Navigating complex office problems involves staying calm, analyzing the situation thoroughly, and identifying the root cause. Prioritize tasks, delegate when necessary, and communicate openly with the team. Seek input and collaborate for diverse perspectives. Maintain a flexible approach to adapt to changing circumstances and focus on finding practical solutions while keeping long-term goals in mind.

Identify the issues. Understand everyone's interests. List the possible solutions. List the Positive or Negative Outcomes of Each Possible Solution. Select an option. Document the agreement. Evaluate the Outcome. Adjust as Necessary and Try Again.

I prepare hundreds of diplomas each semester in my current position. When prioritizing, I focus on the end goal - accuracy and timeliness - and allow a certain amount of time for each step. I challenge myself to streamline at least one task when preparing the spreadsheets to merging to quality control to printing. Think ahead!

This is an important perspective as complex office issues can be resolved with communicating and collaborating with others to resolve it. Sometimes some issues may seem as though they are complex problems to you. But there have been instances in my experience where I have found that I have communicated these to others and sometimes these processes or situations were not even necessary to be there. This can sometimes save a lot of time in the office and also strengthen processes by identifying what’s necessary, what works and what doesn’t. Usually If there is a complex task or office procedure present it needs to be amended but often isn’t required if the first instance.
