You're faced with a client who prefers 2D designs. How can you convince them of the benefits of 3D models?

This is obvious that 3D model/visual have upper hand than 2D flat sheets. There are number of advantages that we can discuss with client, some of them are: * Clear insight and precision * Less chance of misunderstanding * Better visualization * No more costly and time consuming revisions * Far better coordination * Easy to see clashes * More efficiency * Overall faster, better and more accurate outcome There are many more that we can explain to client with samples and examples. We also can find the challenges from their 2D projects which could have been reduced with 3D models. There are other small tasks that better be done with 2D to reduce unnecessary cost. When they are simple and quick to understand and execute.

I mainly do 2d cad, I would say depends on size of job I it's deadlines. 2d might be a better choice for refurbing an existing small building. But definitely any new builds should be done in revit. But with existing building depends on alot of different factors , budget, timescale, etc
