I’ve dealt with clients pushing for keyword stuffing before, and I knew it could hurt the quality. So, I took the opportunity to educate them. I explained how search engines prioritize readability and user experience over excessive keywords. I also shared how strategic keyword placement, like in headings and meta descriptions, is more effective than overloading the content. Then, I focused on writing naturally, weaving in keywords where they fit smoothly without disrupting the flow. I showed them that well-crafted, engaging content drives better long-term results than forcing in too many keywords. Quality always wins over quantity.

I remind them how important it is to form a connection with their audience and that there's a way to do this properly. Keywords are important, but not at the expense of relationship building and sounding like a human. My clients are savvy entrepreneurs and when I remind them that marketing is human to human, they usually get it.

Dear writer; Always remember this thing: Your CLIENT is not a copy expert, YOU ARE THE ONE! If you're forced to make your copy a Frankenstein of keywords... It's your job to educate the client about how it works. And here's a $1245 lesson: "Quality clients LOVE being educated by an expert!" ...That's the solution for quality clients. If you're talking about 2 out of 10 clients who want you to do what they say - AND nothing else... Do 2 versions of your copy. One the way THEY want. One the way you think will perform better. And gently ask them to test both. I have done this in the past for a numerology coach. And the LONGEST testimonial I have ever received was from that coach. P.S. Just give them results anyway!

It can be very disturbing for clients to demand for keywords stuffing. However, see it as tho they lack understanding and need explanation. Actually if they do, they won't demand for keyword stuuffing. You can show your clients an example of our keyword stuffing in a copy that ends up bad. A practice example will go a long way in helping your clients understand better.

It's ineffective in arguing when the client demands. After all it's their business, and we need to provide the service. The best way is to A/B test both the copy and see which performs the best. Results speak better.
