A few criteria that I go through in order to figure out general viability is 1.) is using this more effective than a desktop to complete a task 2.) will this program distract people from their work 3.) can my Grandma/Mom understand how to navigate it These criteria to me can help me come to a conclusion of whether or not a program is viable for most people.

To assess VR opportunities, I evaluate factors like project alignment with business goals, potential ROI, and user engagement. I analyze the technical feasibility, scalability, and integration with existing systems. I also consider market trends, user demand, and the competition. Testing prototypes and gathering feedback from end-users helps refine the solution's viability and impact.

For V-Commerce for example, I evaluate viability through: 1?? Market Relevance: Does this opportunity enhance the customer journey or solve a pain point? For example, interactive VR showrooms can redefine how customers explore luxury products. 2?? Technical Feasibility: Assess the tech stack—hardware, software, and integrations—to ensure scalability and ease of deployment. 3?? User Testing: Rapid prototyping and A/B testing reveal what resonates with users, prioritizing experiences that are immersive yet intuitive. 4?? ROI Analysis: Measure potential ROI, balancing innovation with financial sustainability. This framework ensures every VR venture contributes meaningfully to both customer engagement and business goals.

I work with children mostly that use our systems so my mind goes right into, how can we keep them from breaking the headset, how can we keep the end user from falling over or running into other users. Safety Usability Ongoing costs Distribution/ Implementation All need to be considered.
