Active listening isn’t just about nodding along while someone talks; it's about genuinely engaging with their message. From time to time In a conversation, I like to use a little trick: I’ll repeat what I’ve heard in my own words. For example, if someone explains a project detail, I might say, "Just to clarify, this is what is needed from our team?, or "So, what I’m hearing is that the deadline is tight because of X, Y, and Z, right?" This way, they know I’ve understood their point, and it gives them a chance to clarify anything if I’ve missed something.
