Here are some tips to consider: 1-Look for innovations and trends 2-Pay attention to your clients 3-Remain educated 4-Connect and work with professional in the field 5-Try new things and be creative

From my electrical design side background number: 1. Have a solid specialty in electrical that's your strong point. 2. Have an open mind on try different areas electrical try learn. 3. Stay updated on NEC codes. 4. Learn other disciplines codes; International or Uniform Building Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, HVAC etc. 5. Receive different publications in the industry: IEEE, electrical contractor, panel building and many other. 6. Take the many conference courses to keep your knowledge fresh and up to date.

Un tema de gran peso dentro del crecimiento profesional en el área eléctrica o electrónica, es la actualización. Desde mi punto de vista, este rasgo es esencial para estar a la vanguardia de las tecnologías. - Ser autodidacta permite un crecimiento personal y laboral, dotando de un conocimiento certero. En el ámbito de lo profesional, ser autodidacta permite a la persona lograr estar a la vanguardia, le dota de habilidades que en el área logra destacar sobre otros, en el ámbito de dise?o es de suma importancia realizarnos las preguntas del ?Cómo?, y ?Por qué?, porque de esta manera se puede conocer, describir y explicar un fenómeno o proceso.

Continuous Personal Development should always be at the forefront. This could be through formal or informal study or reading various articles. Be part of an Engineering network/forum. Seek an experienced mentor. Have a teachable spirit.
