I identify my top tasks for the day and dedicate specific blocks of time to work on them without distractions. Then I check emails at scheduled times instead of continuously. This prevents constant interruptions and allows you to stay in the flow. I organize emails into folders or mark less critical ones as “read later” so they don't clutter my inbox. I unsubscribe from unnecessary newsletters and delegate tasks when possible. I respond briefly or mark them for later, prioritizing only emails that need immediate attention.

Ah, the email flood — the digital whirlpool we all love to hate! Here's how to stay afloat and focused: 1. Triage like a pro: Prioritize emails by urgency, using flags or folders. If it's not critical, it can wait. 2. The 2-minute rule: If it takes less than 2 minutes to respond, knock it out. Done and dusted! 3. Batch it: Set specific times to check emails. No need to be Pavlov’s dog responding to every ding! 4. Turn off notifications: Distractions begone! Focus on key tasks instead. 5. Delegate or delete: If it’s not your problem, pass it on or simply hit delete. Stay focused on what moves the needle!

Email incoming rules, folders and filters could potentially help you in this situation. Certain tags, subject lines, email addresses and more can be automatically filtered and moved into respective inboxes and folders based upon incoming rules you set. Sometimes you will not get notified when emails arrive into these new folders thus you might want to check them at least once a day.

Set rules for transactional emails and move them automatically to separate folder. Define rules to highlight,(with separate color) 1. Mails where you are marked in cc. 2. Mails where you are directly addressed.
