One thing is that users want to quickly set up their security, learn all the features that the car offers, and start driving. As the designer I would first keep the security and authentication fast and clean, 2 factor is a must. The best way for a user to interact with their car the right way, Is to tell the user the most important things about the security of the car on the screen when first booting up in the first 10 seconds, and send all the secondary information to the app once it's connected to the car. Next is navigation. Operating an interface on a car should be like navigating a website. Even though there is alot, it's easy to locate and scroll through even while driving to quickly keep the driver focused on the road again.
