In my experience, self-belief is one of the most crucial aspects of a successful career (and that includes a resume). The difference between a very successful candidate and a moderately successful one is (more often than not) their self belief. You do not need a license to market yourself as a national speaker.....so I did! I sent out brochures and when requests came in I prepared the speeches I had described and made my business happen. By the way I put 5 children through college as a single mom with this business. If you have the confidence you need to make it happen...then do it and share it with others.
