Try to work with big specializing software such as Blue Yonder WMS or Manhattan WMS as many business are using it. Thirdly, I'd explore test automation with tools like Cycle check his Gherkin Syntax, benefiting from its wide adoption and pre-built test case libraries for Blue Yonder WMS and DISPATCHER. With effort, Manhattan could be tested to. And now with my ISTQB and my research done would try to find work in places that use above softwar

Think of it this way: you look to buy a property. Everything looks good, you buy it, and after moving in you spot leaks. You didn't know the flaws until you moved in. Same idea, software testing identifies defects and bugs earlier, (before the product is released). This means the end-user is getting a quality product. THe tools you use will depend on what testing you do, Manual testers really only need Excel, but hopefully can use better tools. Technical skills are to many to record and most just look good on your CV, best if picked up as required unless going into a larger firm that require a fixed (but limited) set.
