Information technology is a vast stream which contain a hefty number of core streams. For Example Development, R&D, Operations, Project Management, Security, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure, Compliance, Devops, etc. and the list goes on. While this core diversification exists there are standard defined key roles/designation defined to have responsibility and accountability is overlooking these areas. For example a (CISO)Chief information Security Officer is in charge of Security and Compliance, likewise a IT Operations or Project Manager is entrusted with Project Management. Likewise you need to target a key role as your objective to achieve. Also consider targeting the key technologies which are trending and in demand.
