To operate effectively as designers, we need to be bold, flexible and creative. Not all methods and tools needed will be found in apps or books. Many people in the field (Design) seem to have creative paralysis when being propositive on this aspect, waiting until some big-shot expert creates a new method or a big company launches a new tool, to then try to shoehorn it on their own process (weather it fits or not). In some cases it won't do any good because your circumstances and the expert's are very different, in some others it may be a fad or marketing. The brand of any true expert is understanding, tweaking and developing resources to approach each situation with the (tailored) tools that fit them best.

Meiner Erfahrung nach gibt es hier auch viel Potenzial, sich zu verzetteln oder eben sehr schlaue Abkürzungen oder Vereinfachungen zu machen. Beispielsweise ist es in der Regel in einfachen B2C-Shops v?llig vertretbar mit sogenannten Proxy-Usern ein Shop-Design zu testen (z.B. weil die echten Kunden schlecht erreichbar sind). Proxy-User sind in dem Fall Personen, die nicht zur (potenziellen) Kundschaft geh?ren. Die Anfangsforschung, bei der es um grundlegende Bedürfnisse und z. B. die Einstellung zum Brand geht, kann so eine Vereinfachung jedoch nicht verkraften, ohne nutzlose Informationen zu erzeugen.
