Consider both short-term and long-term costs, including licensing, maintenance, and training expenses. 6-Test the tools in a real-world scenario to assess their performance and suitability. 7-Seek feedback from other student or professor

Projects are a reflection of what you want to build. Generally, they should reflect the problems you face personally or collectively in a group. These problems create a sustainable and great project, but again, depending on how much time you have, you can implement a major or minor part. To start, decide what you want to build, break it into smaller parts, and begin building.

It all comes down to how easy you can do the following on you current project: 1) Write, test and debug code. 2) Deploy a new running version of your project. 3) Plan and monitor changes or issues within your project and also share with collaborators. I'd say for the most part you can use VSCode 90% of the time. Easy to use and many plugins for all types of development. For source control stick with git. The project planning part is the big mess. Tons of different tools free and paid. If you want to keep it simple I suggest Trello.

Like any other task you first have to think and write what you want to create, what it will involve, which technologies would be the best, what will be the process, and most importantly what will be the final outcome. Once you have these things documented, it will be a lot easier.

Go through stack overflow check out what are the trending tools used by developers. You might find one according to your need. 3. Do some research and find a published project which have some similarities with the one you are making and try to find tools used in that project.
