La confianza es la certeza en nuestra capacidad para resolver situaciones presentes y futuras; se alimenta del historial de experiencias que atravesemos con éxito. A mayor cantidad de experiencias vividas , mayor confianza. Practicar con el set de estímulos más parecidos al momento del show es clave para que el vocalista se sienta en control de la situación, ya que tendrá un historial de evidencias exitosas de esa experiencia. Dependiendo del punto inicial de confianza del vocalista, la evolución de experiencias de práctica. Puede empezar dominando la canción, después practicarla en escenario, después con el vestuario que usará y luego a?adir público. Todo va sumando a la experiencia y repetición, básicas para desenvolverse con confianza.

Traer a la mesa todo lo que podría salir mal, por remoto que sea, ayuda a gestionar la seguridad en el escenario. Tener un plan en caso de que algo salga mal, nos da herramientas para tranquilizar nuestro sistema nervioso. Al cerebro le gusta sentirse en control, en caso contrario manda al cuerpo se?ales de alerta - y toda la seguridad y confianza salen por la ventana en este momento. Sin seguridad (sentido de supervivencia) no puede haber confianza (certeza en nuestra capacidad). Aprender a gestionar las reacciones nerviosas a través de la respiración y visualización es de gran ayuda al pulir presencia escénica.
