2 Choose a mobile device management solution

Once you have your goals and scope, you need to find a mobile device management solution that suits your needs and budget. Such a software tool allows you to remotely monitor, manage, and secure your mobile devices. There are many options available in the market, but you should look for features such as device enrollment and authentication, device configuration and policy enforcement, device inventory and tracking, and device compliance and reporting. These features enable you to register and verify devices, set rules and settings for them, view their status and location, as well as check their compliance with policies and regulations. Moreover, you can also lock, wipe, or restore devices in case of loss or theft, as well as generate reports and alerts for any issues or incidents.

Make sure when you're choosing an MDM software that it gives you the ability to remotely control and wipe the device if compromised. Also ensure the MDM is customizable to be able to set up specific guidelines for your needs and policies. With the right software, even in the hands of a careless employee, you will be able to make sure the phone locks out, requires passcodes for entry into apps or programs containing sensitive information and be able to erase all information in case the device is lost or stolen.
