3D printing is a practical learning rather than documented learning. If a mentor is just reading the slides on a presentation and just showing theoretical parts. The mentees can never learn. Because when you are out in the field many things happen. One might have to tune the printer, level of the bed and many other things. Like tolerances can be taught in theoretical parts but practical demonstration is very necessary because what you might learn might be effective in every scenario. To know whether your mentees have learned or not, give them a task and ask them to print. On the other hand you print parts in front of them.

Once you have collected feedback and outcomes, you need to analyze the data and draw conclusions.
