Mindset drives Behaviour, Behaviour drives Culture and Culture eats Strategy for breakfast. With conflicting personalities, look for behaviour people are displaying. A team member's dominant behaviour can negatively impact team's 'shared responsibility' and give birth to heros creating 1-person dependency. Great way to overcome this is by setting shared team goals. A team's goal is to be 'high performing'. Clearly define the attributes of this goal - shared responsibility, lower 1-person dependency, working efficiently, etc. Empower the team to achieve these attributes, by asking them - "how can we together achieve shared responsibility". Let the team come-up with effective way to achieve these attributes. Leader here acts as a coach!

Empowering a team member who feels overshadowed starts with creating a safe environment for open communication. Encourage them to share their ideas by actively soliciting their input during meetings and ensuring they have uninterrupted time to speak. Provide positive reinforcement when they contribute, highlighting the value of their insights. Offer mentorship or additional resources to help them build confidence in their skills. Balancing the group dynamic by moderating dominant voices ensures everyone has an opportunity to be heard, fostering a more inclusive team atmosphere.
