At lower cost ,more services can be availed in terms of compute, storage, database, networking, security, analytics and much more according to projects. Initial setup will be high in price and may lack expertise in a short span of time.

One thing I would like to add is moving to the cloud can enhance the scalability of an application. However, you need to consider if the data can also be migrated or if it will remain on-premises and let the cloud connect to it which will imply there will be a vpn connecting on-premises to the cloud and more network bandwidth.

However, all these can fall short when it comes to pricing strategies exercised by the competitors.
