Most struggles can be addressed by properly discussing and documenting a step wise plan of action. Some of the struggle maybe personal, and some maybe inter personal vis a vis team members and their relationship vis a vis each other. Not having favourites is very important, and every person needs to feel heard and valued.

The feedback reveiver should be ready to take the feedback and therefore rapport and trust with the feedback giver is very important. Feedback should be given often and closer to the event rather than in appraisal cycles. Feedback should be specific, relatable and have enough and more examples so that it is easily understood.
