Here are some universal approaches that tend to work well for most: 1. Visual Aids - Use images, diagrams, and videos to reinforce points and make complex information easier to understand. 2. Interactive Elements - Incorporate quizzes, polls or live Q&A sessions to encourage participation. 3. Storytelling - My personal favourite is sharing real-life examples to make the content relatable, memorable and most importantly, practical. Combine all the 3 above, I don't think we can go wrong regardless the preferences ??

Facilitating an open communication among team members, this involves creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable expressing their training preferences and concerns. Regular meetings or feedback sessions can provide a platform for team members to share their thoughts on different training methods and how they impact their performance.

There are many strategies that you can implement to address diverse training preferences. One of my favorites is to incorporate as much choice as people in a session - choice of questions to answer, choice of who to group with etc. Ownership allows for greater "buy-in," which helps reduce conflicts.

‘One-size-fits all’ approach to learning initiatives is passé. With the reality of a multi-generational ( AI- enhanced ) workforce today, the industry now needs to redesign it’s learning interventions starting with the instructional design, including the methodology, the technique, the content, the delivery and the expected learning outcome keeping in mind the end user of the training and the dominant demographic representation of the participant group. Keeping the traditional training techniques intact organizations should ‘reboot’ to include technology led, bite-sized learning modules, video based learning, gamification, informal and collaborative training techniques to yield results.
