In my experience, 1.Emphasize clearly to the team in daily standup and project meetings on the project goals and demands. 2.Keep the team motivated, supportive and at high spirits all the time. 3.Have informal discussion with team, appreciate small wins in meetings, thank you note, create supportive environment, balance work load, stress busters, open forum, short breaks etc., 4.Record lessons learned on project demand situations from team and stakeholders for future projects.

One thing I've found helpful is combining clear priorities with regular recognition of small wins. When the team knows exactly what to focus on and feels appreciated for their progress, it creates a positive cycle. Add in open communication channels for concerns, and you've got a recipe for sustained motivation - even under pressure.

Besides these strategies, consider introducing flexible work arrangements. Allowing team members to adjust their schedules can help them manage their workload more effectively. Also, involve the team in decision-making processes. Giving them a voice in how projects are managed can boost their sense of ownership and motivation. Lastly, organize team-building activities to strengthen bonds and provide a mental break from project pressures.

If your team is overwhelmed by project demands, start by acknowledging their hard work and the challenges they’re facing. Show appreciation, and remind them that their efforts are valued. Next, help prioritize tasks, focusing on the most impactful projects first to reduce pressure. Encourage breaks and flexibility where possible, allowing them to recharge. Consider redistributing workloads or bringing in additional support if feasible. Lastly, set short-term goals and celebrate small wins to build momentum. Reigniting motivation often starts with making the workload manageable and reminding the team of the impact they’re creating.
