1. Assess company needs. It is important for us to understand that our organizational objectives take priority. So we need to assess the importance of the skillsets in question, relative to the company goals and how this will benefit the organization, long term. 2. Once this needs assessment has been concluded, we bring the team onboard, preferably maybe by having a team building with an SME who will assist with ensuring that everyone is adapting to this "change". Part of the exercise should include having them brainstorm critical skills and competencies that would be needed for this ideal candidate to make everyone aligned. 3. Once this has been done, they can then deliberate on their findings, and also open up room for healthy debates.
