Your team is divided on economic report discrepancies. How can you ensure everyone is on the same page?

Any economic report will have certain data, assumptions, and correlations. The discrepancies stem from one of these aspects of the report and need to be addressed. The team will be asked to verify these aspects from other sources, with past knowledge, or maybe look at other correlating reports. There is no point in arguing and using your position weight to solve this problem. Have team educated on subject will help solving such issues in future.

To bring your whole team on the same boat, the team needs to decide on the more accurate interpretation. Divide all the schools of thought into teams, and give them 1 week of time to draft their arguments and present them to the team. At the end, the team votes on the most appropriate interpretation and that is the one we go with. It is a rational expectation that every single person cannot be brought on board, and so we need to bring as many people on board as possible.
