Develop a comprehensive style guide that outlines the desired tone and voice, complete with examples. This serves as a reference point for everyone, ensuring clarity and consistency. Organize workshops where team members can collaboratively discuss and practice writing in the brand's voice. This hands-on approach fosters understanding and allows for real-time feedback. It is critical to have the team on the same wavelength. I believe it is important for the team to express their points of view so they feel included in the process. I’ve done this many times throughout my career especially at Converse. We would have open, heated debates but would always come together as one voice, one team. It is important to have the correct players on your team or you need to make changes. They need to have strong plans and goals individually but know it is about the team winning. Set the expectations then follow the plan.
