- Encourage learning and development by showing how new responsibilities lead to growth. Example: Share success stories of team members who advanced by taking on new tasks. - Offer mentorship and training to ease transitions. Example: Pair a hesitant employee with an experienced mentor. - Acknowledge contributions to motivate the team. Example: Publicly praise team members who excel in new responsibilities.

Every Team member needs a reason to get involved. Either that comes from within or they choose to be handheld by peer members. In either case, they needs to have a clear idea about: a) What they will gain on personal front when they start taking new responsibilities. b) How taking initiatives will add value to the personal and professional growth. c) Adding small incentives or token of appreciation can become a good source of self motivation for them. Biggest of all, lead by an example. Do something similar that you expect your team members to do. This will inspire them for sure.
