This is far more simple than people make it out to be. If you walk the talk, you are authentic. If your brand is in a situation where trust is missing, 99% of the time it is caused by a factor within your control. You can remedy this situation by making a point out of taking actions that are in alignment with the brand's long term voice and vision. For example, spend some of your advertising dollars on an incentive that gives back to a relevant cause for your brand (and don't make it a one-off deal, CONTINUE to contribute). Better yet, address the issue rather than avoiding it - customers are always weary when a brand stays quiet. For a brand that has good intentions, this is an easy challenge to overcome - it's nothing to fear!

Ter um diferencial frente à concorrência, sendo inovador e disruptivo, n?o é sempre possível. Mas, ao menos, vale buscar um novo diferencial criativo se a comunica??o está semelhante ao mercado em geral.

Authenticity comes from being true to your values and engaging openly with your audience. So, start by acknowledging concerns openly and demonstrate that you’re committed to whatever you're telling them. Reiterate your core values and ensure they align with the message you’re conveying as well as your actions. Use a more personal and relatable tone when possible. And involve your audience in the new process, asking for their input and feedback on your messaging.

I can relate to this because I've experienced telling a great story and realising halfway through no one's even listening! You’ve got to hit reset and get real with them. Now, I drop the corporate jargon, show some vulnerability, and let them in on my why. People trust transparency, so lay it out there—why you care, why it matters to them. When I started out in coaching, I realised my messaging was so polished it felt robotic. I stripped it back, added personal stories, and the audience suddenly felt being in a real conversation. I always say, don’t be afraid to admit you're not perfect! Own the misstep, laugh about it, and re-engage by showing them you're just like them—flawed but real. Be human, be relatable, and trust will follow.
