If we are facing a recurring issue in our startup? It’s like a bad sequel nobody asked for at least for me NO ! As they say when life gives you lemons make lemonade. My suggestion tackle it head-on by gathering the team for a “lemonade summit” turning problems into opportunities. With fresh ideas, a sprinkle of humor & a dash of creativity, we’d transform our pesky issue into a recipe for success! All the best !

In my experience, recurring issues often feel unsolvable because the root cause hasn’t been fully addressed. Whenever you face with any problem if you have found a immediate solution implement it but keep looking for a the root cause and finding solutions for it do not shrug off responsibilities just because you found a short term solution. One approach that works is stepping back to analyze the deeper problem with fresh perspectives, whether from your team or external advisors. Break the issue into smaller parts and test small, low-risk solutions. Sometimes, it’s also about managing the issue rather than completely solving it, which can shift your focus toward more practical, adaptive strategies that lead to long-term progress.

I’d start by gathering the team for a brainstorming session to analyze the problem from multiple angles. I’d encourage everyone to share their perspectives and experiences related to the issue. Next, I’d conduct a root cause analysis to identify underlying factors contributing to the problem. Then, I’d develop a few potential solutions and prioritize them based on feasibility and impact. Testing these solutions on a small scale would help gauge effectiveness before a full rollout. Throughout this process, I’d maintain open communication with the team, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure everyone feels invested in finding a resolution. Regular check-ins would help us stay on track and adapt as needed.

When faced with a seemingly unsolvable recurring issue, -Gather data of all such instances from the past and study the pattern -Form a team whoever are connected to the problem especially SMEs, brainstorm on the root cause and come up with possible solutions as much as possible -Evaluate the solutions, eliminate less desirable ones and remaining in order of preference. -Weigh the pros and cons for the solution and implement the solution. -Check for solution effectiveness. -If the outcome is not satisfactory, return to step1, select new solution or revise existing solution and repeat remaining steps.
-
What may seem impossible likely has untapped solutions. Begin by gathering your team to dissect the problem from all angles, encouraging open, honest dialogue to uncover root causes. Don’t hesitate to seek outside perspectives, whether through mentors, industry experts, or even customers, who might offer insights you hadn’t considered. Experiment with creative solutions through small-scale trials or prototypes, and use data to track what’s working. Importantly, remain adaptable and patient—solving complex issues often requires iteration and the willingness to pivot as new information arises. By facing the problem head-on with persistence and collaboration, you can turn an obstacle into an opportunity for growth.
