Success is the goal, yes, but failures will teach the team to learn from the mistakes, know the nitty gritty of the path towards success with compounded value additions. So, sometimes adaptability comes with multi-directional hindrances wrt. - 1. Team bonding 2. Transformational change with lack of support from the team. 3. Discouragement towards risk aptitude, etc. When taken in considerations towards omitting these challenges in a focused way, the team will become adaptive, agile, and more importantly resilient.

Then, break down the problems the team is trying to solve into small, manageable parts, and hold brainstorming sessions to review and create multiple viable solutions. In seeking the insight and feedback from team members with diverse perspectives and backgrounds, the organization immediately benefits. One of the primary ways that it benefits the organization is that your team begins to value every member by demonstrating a mutual respect for each person and idea brought to the table.

Diverse teams have been shown to be powerful for creative problem solving due to their ability to bring different perspectives and ideas to the table. This is because diversity in thought and background reduces the likelihood of groupthink and encourages more critical thinking.

And the smart diverse voice understands the virtue of discretion. The best first step is to find a way to establish a status quo where they feel safe to speak their minds. I like to utilize the design thinking approach by beginning with a design prompt and then developing user stories. From there, I map out all the steps into a value stream map of the current state, which helps in identifying inefficiencies and opportunities. Next, I create a vision for the future state and proceed to ideate and converge on the best possible scenario. This process ensures that everyone’s contributions are valued and incorporated into the final outcome.

One thing I've found helpful in problem solving is idea creation. Yeah! Brainstorming on ideas could quickly help in solving problem that affect a particular team and could bring answers to a particular problem. Idea creation is very important when it comes to solving problems. Ideas created should be significant and should have the capacity to eliminate problems.

If you're tried brainstorming activities and still feel stuck on a problem, it's okay to take a break. Go for a walk, close your eyes and breathe for a few minutes, switch to a different task, sleep on it, etc. Give your subconscious mind a chance to chew on the problem. Sometimes I need a few hrs, a full day, or a week to come up with a potential sol'n I can test. This is difficult but even more important when we are stressed. Creativity can be unpredictable and often doesn't work so well when forced. Give yourself permission and time to take a break.

Curiosity should be fostered within the team. Encouraging curiosity leads to the generation of new ideas and enhances the team’s understanding of the final goal. A team that consistently asks questions can identify gaps and potential issues early in the process. It’s crucial to avoid discouraging team members, even if their questions aren’t always successful. Conversely, praising their inquiries will make them feel comfortable and relaxed.

Curiosity drives discovery. It’s the difference between sticking to what’s familiar & exploring new, untapped markets. Have the drive to ask "what if?" or "why not?". This helps you spot opportunities hidden beneath the surface of everyday challenges.

Being curious is a good thing, and it is often contagious. Curiosity enables the team to become better. They stretch their minds to greater potential. In addition each member of the team bounces ideas off each other. As ideas are generated, and the details come out, this enables more ideas. This process helps to bring out the best of each team member.

Looking closer or deeper at the world around us, asking "why," and exploring topics or engaging with people who are different than ourselves are great ways to practice curiosity in our everyday lives. Treat curiosity as a skill, as something to practice and improve at. This makes it easier to apply to work-related problems.

If we spend time being curious and trying to understand, we improve our perspectives and often find better solutions for change. If we do this early on, we can get more desirable results.

Beyond that- those rough prototypes will pay off dividends in the future as you develop similar solutions. I’ve always found these prototypes to be a framework for some of our most successful systems and something which we know is successful and can help our understanding and forecasting of performance metrics

In this case, the fundamental error is setting goals without settling the team. The most critical factor is to let every team member be themselves and encourage them to reflect on their role in the project. This self-awareness is crucial as it helps you understand the main resource you have to reach the project goal. On the other hand, never encourage your team to fake their work for recognition. Instead, let their true commitment shine through. Your feedback should focus on mindset, as skills can be gained or learned. Once you bring all egos to a common ground, set your goal and clearly mark the expectations. Creativity is not something to create; it’s inherent in us and our daily work. The right mindset will capture it.

Tracking the roots of problem, what is it make them struggling to adapt? for example, maybe they felt unsafe and uncomfortably in work pace environment or culture in previous team. Instead of blaming and push them to adapt, we could cleave the noisy ocean to make a middle way: utilize and embrace their competencies, creative thinking and give them a space to develop their skills. Then, we could slowly adapt to their competencies and they would slowly adapt to the team pace. It's not always how they adapt to our team, but we can also adapt to their competencies. So the harmony would be created.
