If issues persist, I’d diversify our supplier base to ensure consistent quality. When we get bad materials from a supplier, we need to act fast to protect our product quality. First, we check how bad the materials are and how they'll affect our product. Then, we talk to the supplier to understand what went wrong and find a solution. We have a few options, Send the bad materials back and get new ones or a refund or Ask the supplier for a discount. Find a new supplier if the problem continues When choosing what to do, we think about the costs, how long it'll take, and how it'll affect our production schedule. We want to keep our products good and our customers happy, but we also want to work well with our suppliers. We follow a simple process to fix the problem and prevent it from happening again.

Using substandard material is a breach of the norms of contract. While onboarding, suppliers show full compliance & the same shall be continued through out the execution of the contract. However, it is difficult to control the compromises & there are only reactive actions remains in hand. Proactively, as a risk identified before contract, organization shall think to have 2 or more suppliers for the same product & there shall be an healthy competition between those suppliers. Frequent evaluation of all suppliers will decide the best out of those & suppliers will also try to go to the top position by following all norms.
