The audience loves consistency. We as a podcaster don't know much but they care for consistency. Sometimes they ask for the next episode with Direct Message when the next episode will be uploaded. Consistency builds trust and confidence in the content. The audience feels that podcasters are committed and serious about the podcast topic. Ultimately they also feel connected and concerned for the podcast.

Leverage anticipation to keep your listeners excited for the next episode. If your schedule varies, make sure to give your audience something to look forward to. Tease upcoming content at the end of each episode, share behind-the-scenes glimpses on social media, and hint at special guests. Building anticipation can turn the wait into a positive part of the experience rather than a frustration.

This is super awesome advice to engage elsewhere. You can authentically express your travel or retreat plans in the podcast episode. Instead of cutting corners, speak honestly & authentically. At the end of the day, if your listeners don't like your release schedule, you'll likely not know about it. Unless they are SUPER invested in your show, they're unlikely to communicate with you, even if asked, because it's an effort on their part for something they may not care that much about. LinkedIn's AI question algorithm does not fundamentally understand podcasts and audiences. If an audience gets bored, it leaves — likely leaving you with little information as to why. If you have a listener complaining about your release schedule you are incredibly lucky. Most folks will just move on and find something they like that releases the amount of content they want. Additionally, don't take a single listener's feedback as 100% truth.
