The core of determining the effectiveness of technical trainings lies in the key training objectives. It’s actually a combination of pre, during & post approach. Pre-Stage: effectiveness should be assessed on both qualitative & quantitative parameters & they should be identified in pre-stage. Pre-stage data becomes the reference point to measure the change or impact/ effectiveness. During Stage: Trainer’s first hand observation of trainee during the training session w.r.t defined objectives. This May also include, the pre-post test, feedback data & analysis. Post Stage: Observations on: - On the Job patterns & performance - Manager’s observation & feedback - change in quantitative & qualitative data - Change in skills level & expertise.
