All these listed are great ways to deal with over booking, I have found that having a system that has hard stops in place that doesn’t allow double booking access to all bug to only those that should be able to approve them such as the provider and administrator only helps! Also communication is key across the board, with the provider of care and or services and the workers and to communicate immediately or error does happen with the client/ patient.

I will communicate with all of the patients that are scheduled and let them know the unexpected circumstances we are facing at the time. Communication is very important in everything situation and will help us to navigate the process next time if that occurs.
