One thing I have found helpful is to support my client with shifting focus from the setback. When one of my clients faced a setback, the narrative changed to focus on the setback and there was signs of dwelling in the setback. By helping her make a connection between her feelings and energy levels when she is constantly talking about the setback, she was able to identify that she feels defeated, discouraged and with low energy. This realization allowed for a restructuring of her mindset from the negative perspective and its effect, to a growth talk, which in turned increased her energy and fueled motivation to restart.

Primeiramente, sentando com o cliente e analisar quais foram os objetivos estabelecidos, até onde atingiram, estabelecer em que momento as barreiras surgiram e identificar a causa raiz. Sem saber qual foi o gatilho que deu início a dificuldade, mesmo que o rumo seja modificado no meio da jornada, a chance de acontecer novamente é imensa. Após a identifica??o da causa raiz, a mesma deve ser debatida, e “atacada” de forma a garantir que o problema seja eliminado, após esta a??o, dever?o ser identificadas a??es que motivem o time do seu cliente a se engajar novamente, eliminando qualquer resquício de desanimo pelo ocorrido, e por último mantendo um plano de controle das a??es implementadas x resultados obtidos.
