If a client is stuck using outdated content tactics it is likely for these reasons: 1 - They don't have time to research modern strategies 2 - They don't have the funds to implement new content 3 - They are fearful of change To steer these clients to modern content strategies, I would start slowly & cost effectively. First, suggest switching out overly promotional content for content that adds value to their audience. This switch should not cost any extra and analytics would quickly prove its value. Next, suggest less frequent posting with more engaging content. Another cost effective way to implement a modern strategy. Once you've earned the client's trust with these new tactics, you can then offer a comprehensive strategic plan.
