Letting go is hard. It's part of any transition. We tend to think we are struggling with our new reality, but often it is about letting go of our old reality. Take time to look at both directions. What are you moving towards and what are you moving away from? Viewing both sides and how each pulls at you can give you a better sense of why you may be letting go of the old, and why you are moving towards the new.

To be confident in any transition (career or life related) it is important to nail 3 things: 1) clarity of who you are and who you want to become; 2) a vision of the future (aka direction); 3) mindset, so that to not self-sabotage along the way. These are the core elements of my program, a proven path that has consistently helped my clients successfully transition and thrive on the other side.

We will all go through a life transition at one point or another. The key is to prioritize hearing your inner voice and what you need to do. There will be people, maybe some that you trust and love you, telling you what you need to do. But you know you best. You need to listen to that inner voice that tells you what you need and what your next step is. It doesn’t have to be a big step, just a step forward. Once you take that, the other one becomes clear. What helped me is to prioritize my health and well-being during this time. From a healthy state, you are able to make decisions with more clarity. Know that you have every right to do what’s best for you, and never feel guilty for making an unpopular decision if it’s right for you.
-
Clarify their vision: Help them define what they truly want from this transition. Break it down: Set small, achievable steps to make the change feel manageable. Build confidence: Remind them of past successes and strengths they can draw on. Encourage action: Focus on what they can control and take proactive steps. Empowerment comes from clarity and action—help them see the path forward and take charge.

When a client is struggling with a life transition, my goal is to empower them to take control of their journey. I start by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can openly share their fears and aspirations. Together, we identify their strengths and leverage them to build resilience. I guide them through setting realistic, achievable goals and celebrate each milestone, no matter how small. Through personalized coaching sessions, group coaching, and my EmpowerHer guided journals, I provide the tools and support they need to navigate their transition with confidence and clarity. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their transformation and see them reclaim their power.
