One of the most common problems in communication is the management of emotions and within this the physiological part, the stress, the anxiety that is produced by the encounter with another person, perhaps when presenting a project, having a difficult conversation with your boss, a collaborator. Mindfulness helps us regulate these emotions and stay in the now, we also avoid thinking about what can happen, and what generally does not happen. I loved the book by Matt Abrahams called Think Faster Talk Smarter, there he gives us a lot of advice on this subject.
